Getting to and from your medical appointments should be one less thing to worry about during your stay. The Doorways offers convenient transportation between our building and VCU Health, with regular shuttle service throughout the day and transportation available after hours.

Where to Catch the Shuttle
If you are receiving care at VCU Medical Center, there is a free hospital shuttle provided by the hospital each day.
When at VCU Medical Center, the shuttle pickup and drop-off is located at The Gateway Building’s back entrance, on the ground floor.
If you need transportation outside of regular shuttle hours, there is an after-hours transportation service that is available from 5 PM until 8 AM.
You can call this service directly from The Doorways or the hospital to arrange your pick-up.
