He was born in Punjab, India which inspired the “Farm to Table” standard at Lehja. Chef Baweja is a two-time nominee for the prestigious James Beard Awards for “Best Chef Mid Atlantic” and has been recognized for Lehja’s wine program with awards by Wine Spectator since the restaurant’s opening.
